Legacy is an interactive game project developed during an international collaboration in Portugal in November 2024, as part of the InterMedia program.
The game explores a specific natural area in Portugal, aiming to raise awareness for environmental protection through a playful and immersive experience. By collecting information about plants and the surrounding ecosystem, players are encouraged to engage more deeply with nature and its preservation.
My role focused on the complete sound design of the game. I created the soundtrack for two contrasting worlds — a “positive” natural environment and a darker, distorted version of it — reflecting the tension between preservation and loss.
In addition, I developed a range of sound effects for the gameplay, supporting interaction, atmosphere, and player immersion.
The project combines storytelling, interactivity, and sound to create an experience that connects emotional perception with environmental awareness.
